Reading About Fatherhood
Absent Father Lost Generation, the book.
In Jonathan’s new book, “Absent Father Lost Generation” He takes an in-depth look at the devastating effects of young men being raised without a father in the home. He also to wanted to reiterate that fact that fatherlessness in America is an epidemic, and for most single moms raising boys can be overwhelming.
The latest statics show over 60% of boys being raised in America today are being raised by single moms– making these absent father homes. The importance of the father in the home is undeniable and can not ignored. My prayer for this book is that fathers all over the world will rise up and make their presence felt in the lives of their sons.
Whether you are in the home, or not, it’s time for them to step up to the plate and raise their sons to be a respectable, responsible, dependable, hard working, and for the Christian– God fearing young men. Truth of the matter is that if we continue to be absent our sons will continue to be lost!
“Absent Father Lost Generation,” recognize two types of absent fathers. First we have the obvious, the father who is gone and the son has no relationship with him. Then there is the father who is present and absent at the same time. Jonathan actually devoted an entire chapter to this type of absent father. In this chapter, he talks about eight responsibilities each man has regarding his son. He also challenges men to check themselves and see how they are measuring up.
My second book is called, “7 Keys 2 Freedom.” In this book, I talk openly about my twenty struggle with porn addiction and how God delivered me from the bondage with is caused by the spirit of pornography by using seven practical principals that I share with my readers. Right now in America 65% of all church going men have admitted to struggling with some of pornography addiction, and 35% of all women surveyed admit to struggling with some form of pornography addiction as well. Sixty percent of Pastors, including youth pastors, have also admitted to clicking onto a pornographic website three to five times a week. I call this book a game changer! The reason why I call this particular a game changer, is because there is a lot of people in the church who are just a CLICK away from losing everything they have worked so hard to accomplish. If one will apply these seven principals to his or her life every single day they will be able to remain free from pornography addiction for as long as your heart desire. I guarantee it!

SEE WHAT OUR readers are saying
Jonathan is a true man of God who works with all his might to see real and true masculinity passed down through the generations from father to son. The implications of this not happening in our current state are incredible– and this book helps fathers to reconnect with their sons. It’s clear Jonathan Stafford lives this with his life.John Lehmberg
Every once in a while, you read a book that you find yourself thinking, “everyone needs to read this. Now.” This is such a book. It wasn’t the intended audience, but one group that needs to be reading this is young unmarried women. They need to know what they’re getting into, and what to look for. Absent Father Lost Generation will stay on my bookshelf, and I may order extra copies in time… just so others will read it.Brian-- Amazon.com Review
